WHO WE ARE

Pastor Eric Strutz and his wife Brenda, began pastoring Door Church Colton in December of 1985, when they were sent out from Door Church in Tucson, Arizona to take over a small church here in Southern California.

They began faithfully preaching the Gospel and reaching lost souls with their compassion and desire to serve and see souls saved. The Holy Spirit moved, and key young people received Jesus Christ as their Savior and began to invite their friends and family from the local community and nearby March Airforce Base. Pastor Eric and Brenda discipled these young men and women and poured their love for Jesus and desire for evangelism in them. Following the biblical example of world evangelism, some of those disciples were then sent to start churches in other cities and nations. There are now churches and congregations in Souther California and the nation of Taiwan, that can trace their roots back to Door Church Colton. Under Pastor Eric’s steadfast leadership, Door Church Colton is continuing to make disciples, plant churches and reach lost souls for the kingdom of God.  By the grace of God, the small church that the Strutz’ took over in 1985 has become a thriving congregation with a local and worldwide vision.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Door Church Colton is a Bible-based, Spirit-filled, non-denominational family of believers. Our Pastor and staff count it a privilege to welcome you to our church and minister to your spiritual needs. Ushers are available before, during and after each service to answer your questions and help guide you.

Regular services begin with praise and worship that will ready your heart for the preaching of God’s Word. After prayer requests and opening the service in prayer, we take an offering to honor the Lord. Announcements are followed by the biblical preaching of God’s Word and an altar call.

We are excited to welcome you to Door Church Colton and look forward to meeting you in person.

WORSHIP

The focus of worship at Door Church Colton is to provide an inviting atmosphere where men and women can experience, first-hand, the gracious and loving presence of the Lord Jesus Christ. It is our desire to allow the Holy Spirit to create an openness in people’s hearts so that they may receive the preaching of the Word of God.

We invite you to join us at the beginning of each service for an uplifting time of praise and worship. You will be refreshed and encouraged in the tangible presence of God.

“Praise the Lord! Sing to the Lord a new song and His praise in the assembly of saints.” – Psalms 149:1 NKJ
